Kindness. Knowledge. Trustworthiness.
Caring Professionals is built around these three principles. You’ll notice our difference as soon as you sit down with one of our caregivers. Our Customized Care Planning Process provides the right amount of daily assistance for any need level, and we carefully select our caregivers to best match your loved one’s personality and situation.
We wouldn’t hire anyone that we wouldn’t invite into our own home—in fact, we did just that when our own parents started needing more daily care! Tell us more about your needs! We can’t wait to learn how we can help.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Hiring a bonded caregiver protects your loved one against losses or damages.
With Caring Professionals, you will know your total upfront costs and will receive no surprise charges throughout the process.
W-2 employees are protected by the Fair Labor Standards Acts, such as OSHA and Workers’ Compensation. If an aide is not a W-2 employee, and represents themselves as independent contractors, it becomes your responsibility, if you hire them, to be sure that the person truly is an independent contractor and is therefore paying their own taxes. If the aide does not meet the legal criteria as an independent contractor and has not met his or her tax obligations, this responsibility falls to you–the employer. Potential private employers should seek the advice of a labor lawyer to assure appropriate hiring practices with respect to federal tax laws.
At Caring Professionals, we will only send workers to your home that we would trust to take care of our own family. In fact, we prefer to schedule a face-to-face meeting to discuss your care needs before you ever hire us.
Good communication is the first step toward a good relationship. We schedule regular times to meet, review the care plan and ensure we are meeting all of your expectations. Changes in care needs are to be expected so if there are added responsibilities or changes, these need to be discussed. It is important to make expectations clear so your aide can meet those expectations.
It’s not the case with every agency, but Caring Professionals can accommodate 24-hour care, 7 days a week. We provide you with a dedicated, consistent team of caregivers. Given the COVID-19 environment, we feel it is highly important to have the same staff members in your home, rather than having a “revolving door” of caregivers.
Making sure an agency fits all of your needs is one of the most important initial questions to ask. If you have an aging or disabled loved one, you realize all too well how seemingly simple daily activities can become overwhelming. Our staff is here to offer private duty care services to help your loved one age in place. Caring Professionals offers help with getting dressed, grooming and hygiene, medication reminders, meal preparation, light housekeeping, shopping and errands and bathing. We understand that it can be hard to invite someone new into your home, which is why we offer plans that are 100% customizable to your needs and can change as your needs change.
Beginning all services with a free, in-home assessment is imperative to understanding your needs. An assessment should identify all support services essential to living comfortably at home.

Joe Kuda,
Co-Founder
Born and raised in St. Louis, (Dubourg High School) Joe obtained a Bachelor Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Evansville. Joe spent the first 10 years of his professional career in the pharmaceutical/Biotech world as a top sales representative. Despite successes, felt there had to be a more full-filling way of helping people, particularly the senior population.
Leaving the Biotech Industry in 1994, Joe founded a Private Duty Agency covering Southwest Michigan and Southwest Florida. After 15 successful years sold the agency in 2009. Moving back to St. Louis and deciding that his passion was still in helping seniors and their families, in 2012, with wife, Pam, Caring Professionals, LLC was born.
